Built to be usable by everyone
Good tools for running a business should work no matter how you read a screen, move a pointer, or prefer your colors. This statement explains what we do today, where we still fall short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Our commitment
Businessily aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and 2.2 at Level AA across our website and our web app at businessily.app. We treat AA conformance as an ongoing goal, not a one-time checkbox. Our native iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android apps are coming soon, and we hold them to the same standard, including support for the platform accessibility services people already rely on.
What we do today
These measures are real and in place across the product, not aspirations:
- Semantic HTML. Pages use real headings in order, landmarks, lists, and labeled form fields so screen readers and assistive technologies can describe the structure accurately.
- Keyboard navigable. You can reach and operate interactive controls with a keyboard alone, without a mouse or trackpad.
- Visible focus. Focus styles are visible so you always know which element is active as you tab through a page.
- Respects reduced motion. We honor your
prefers-reduced-motionsetting and drop or minimize animation when you ask your system to. - Respects your color scheme. We honor
prefers-color-scheme, so dark mode follows your system preference automatically. - Sufficient contrast. Our color palette is chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast for text and meaningful UI.
- Accessibility modes in the app. The app offers high-contrast accessibility modes and a theme and accent picker, so you can tune the interface to what is comfortable for you.
- Color is never the only signal. Money values use a redundant sign and label alongside color, so positive and negative amounts are distinguishable without relying on color alone.
- Scalable text. Layouts use relative units and reflow, so you can increase text size in your browser or device settings without losing content or function.
Known limitations
We want to be honest: Businessily is an early, independent, bootstrapped product, and accessibility work is never finished. Some areas are still being audited, and you may encounter a screen or control that does not yet fully meet our AA goal. We have not completed a formal third-party accessibility audit. When we find a gap, or when you report one, we work to fix it.
How to report an accessibility issue
If anything in Businessily is hard to use with assistive technology, or you hit a barrier we have not caught, please tell us. Email honorius@neogy.dev with what you ran into, the page or feature involved, and the device, browser, or assistive technology you were using if you can. We aim to acknowledge reports and to remediate confirmed issues as quickly as we reasonably can. Your reports genuinely make the product better for everyone.
